Match Report 31.10.09: Faces 0 Frenford Senior 3

Faces took on neighbours Frenford Senior looking to end a run of 4 successive home defeats. Manager Gareth Collins was back in charge after another successful stint at the Priory. Changes were made from the outset with Sam Carter, Stuart David & David Day coming in for James Danderson, Damien Yoxall & Ricky Downs who were all missing.

Match Report 31.10.09: Faces Reserves 0 Canning Town Reserves O

Faces entertained Canning Town in only our second home game of the season. It was all change in the team again with 5 changes to last weeks starting line up. Abs Mahmood, Jamie Orr, Gary Bird, Daniel Redgrave and Phil Maloney all came in for starts. Liam Dooley, Paul Kelly, Ben Halsey, Sam Carter & Danny O'Driscoll all missing out. Faces also welcomed new signing Joe Kelly to the club, who started on the bench.

Match Report 24.10.09: Faces 2 Ongar Town 4

Faces entertained Ongar in a bottom of the table clash with both sides knowing that a win would propel them up the table and condemn there opponents to the relegation zone. With Manager Gareth Collins back in rehab, proceedings were taken by Director of Football, Paul Baker & 1st Team Coach, Gary Coxall. Changes were made beforehand with Luke Roust deputising in goal and Billy Swick coming in for his 1st senior game of the season.

Match Report 24.10.09: Ryan 3 Faces 1

Faces travelled to Ryan in the Essex Cup with a makeshift squad following Oti's departure to the first team, Jamie Orr working and Greg Reid who was babysitting, all missing. On arrival we were greeted with the usual poor facilities from our hosts, most notably the kids game taking place in the middle of the already cut up pitch when there were other pitches available which beggared belief.

Match Report 17.10.09: Manford Way 3 Faces 2

Faces made the short journey to Manford Way hoping to avenge the recent narrow home defeat two weeks previously. Manager Gareth ‘slim’ Collins returned looking fresh following a recent stint in rehab. Jon Wightman and Wayne Wilkinson came into the side at the expense of Dave Day & Stuart David who dropped to the bench.
