yes good thx yes far too long to come & see the lads maybe ill invite myself to the Christmas bash this year ? doing ok ,playing a bit of vets now & actually quite enjoying it everying happens in slow motion so that really suits my game !!!....training when i can with one of the enemies , Rayleigh Town, one of their players teaches sport at my kids school so traing with them is nice @ local to me & norm 2-3 keepers there ..gotta tell you this ..ive almost told everyone else ...I scored from a drop kick last weekend any good ? one bounce & in !!! 34 years of playing in goal and I stick one in the onion !!admitily the keeper had gone off injured so was an outfield player in goal & I had a slight trailing wind, but still, I had to launch it 90 yards down the pitch ! won 9-1 so wasnt really a close game anyway !!

Match Report 21.03.09: Ryan Reserves 2 - 0 Faces Reserves

Faces travelled to Ryan looking to continue their fine league run. Mark Duke returned from injury to replace the injured Gavin Wynter.

The day began in farcical circumstances with the home team poorly organised and not providing a team sheet, match balls, or corner flags. I suspect the manager was too busy trying to remember the names of all the ringers that he was playing.

Match Report 14.03.09: Faces Reserves 2 Runwell Reserves 1

Faces entertained Runwell with a number of absentees, including Director of Football Paul Baker topping up his fake bake with some Mexican sunshine. Also missing was Liam Dooley who preferred to rub suncream into Paul rather than trying to help his teamates win the league! Bazza picked up cock of the week for being a naughty boy last week

From the off it was evident this was going to be one of our toughest games of the season with the visitors well organised and very competative in the game. Ch… Continue

Match Report 20.12.08: Hutton Reserves 1 - 2 Faces Reserves

Faces were on the road again for the trip to Hutton hoping to put an end to their losing run. The game began at a frantic pace with both teams right at it from the off.

Faces started well knocking the ball around nicely and deservedly went in front when the impressive Liam Dooley fed Sean Power who rolled back the years with a sublime turn and cool finish to open the scoring.

Faces further extended their lead with almost a carbon copy goal when Liam Dooley fed Paul Kelly who made no mistake to… Continue
